Paperless PL Server unable to connect Guide

 
*** You need admin.cs admin account access *** 

 

Introduction

This guide is used when paperless is unreachable with the error PL server unreachable.

Steps 


Step 1:

Log onto the NCL-APP server with admin.cs log in credentials


Step 2:

Once logged into the NCL-APP server with Corey’s details, using the search function in the bottom right, search for Services

Step 3: 

Once in services look for PL server and PLCI server (Take note that logon as says admin.cs.local next to the service) – This means that this service can only be started by Corey’s account.

Info: We need to restarted each service and to do this because we have reset Corey’s admin password we need to input the new details in.

 

Step 4:

Now Services are up, we need to find PL server and PLCI server

Step 5:

Right click PL server -> properties ->Log On

Step 6: 

Delete Corey’s password and Confirm Password. Input the details you have changed Corey’s password too

Step 7: 

Click Apply


Step 8:

Click OK


Step 9:

Right click -> Start


Step 10:

The PL server service should now be up.


 

Step 11:

Right click PLCI server -> properties ->Log On


Step 12:

Delete Corey’s password and Confirm Password. Input the details you have changed Corey’s password too.


Step 13:

Click Apply


Step 14:

Click OK


Step 15:

Right click -> Start.


Step 16:

The PL server service should now be up.


Step 17:

Get the end user to test Paperless is back up.


Step 18:

The issue should now be resolved.
